Geography of My Province and Region

 Hello! Welcome to my blog about my region and province in the Philippines. I'm Landon Dave, a Grade 4 student of CCL Centrex School in Lapu-Lapu City.

My province, Cebu belongs to Region VII which is located in Central Visayas.

As you can see in the map, Cebu province is northeast of Negros Occidental, northwest of Bohol island and west of Leyte.

Beautiful Places to Visit in Cebu

Cebu has a lot of beautiful attraction to see, both natural and man-made. Some historical while others are modern.

One of the most popular churches in the Philippines and the site of the "Sinulog" festival.

The cross that Magellan brought that started Christianity in the Philippines.

Olango Wildlife Sanctuary

Fort San Pedro

Established during the early days of the Spanish occupation in the Philippines.

One of the biggest malls in the Philippines.

Kawasan Falls

The most beautiful and popular waterfalls in Cebu.

To appreciate Cebu province. I feel a map with a "Places of Interest" theme would highlight the beautiful places. It would also include seaports, beach resorts and dive sites. I think this would be a useful map for travelling as well as for tourists who want to visit our province.
